In today’s global world, everybody says something about globalization and culture. I want to add some very crucial points about the subject. I don’t know what do you think and what will you say. Do you agree that too much emphasis is placed on cultural and ethnic diversity and that this may actually separate people of different ethnicities and cultures rather than bring them together? Do you think we should focus on the similarities between people rather than on the difference? These are some questions that I will address here.
Culture is the combination of a nation’s language, history and its art. It can be the life style of a country. Every bit of a culture is very important for a nation. So every nation has to keep its culture and give enough importance to it. Culture is the essence of every nation. We must accept every culture as it is, and respect them sincerely. Because not to see this essence and differences will be really blindness. The differences between nations are great wealth.
The globalization of the world makes us aware of the differences between cultures. But at this point we must be very careful about not to harm other cultures and to keep our own cultural differences. If we do so and know the differences of cultures we will be very lucrative. We will know the needs of them and we will easily trade with them.
I know that some people will refuse what I’ve said. I am aware of them and they will also see that if we tolerate the differences, every problem will be solved. And they will also appreciate me.
Let’s appreciate every difference and similarity and accept them as they are. Everyone will realize that the differences will be a combining rope between cultures.
